Homegrown financial services specialist Oceanic Consulting Group has significantly ramped up its team over the past weeks, welcoming ten new consultants to its ranks in Sydney and Melbourne. Established in 2018, Oceanic Consulting Group (OCG) supports financial institutions with services including strategy, business transformations and project delivery, remediation programs, business resilience, back office financial operations, human capital, and workplace design.

RSM-supported AI company Trellis Data expands to Adelaide

After having recently branched out to the US, artificial intelligence specialist Trellis Data has now expanded to Adelaide, with a view to creating up to 500 local jobs over the next five years. Established in Canberra in 2017, Trellis Data primarily provides data management solutions to the government and defence sectors, and was supported by RSM in building its business foundations.

University of Adelaide teams up with DEWC Services for AI research

The University of Adelaide is teaming up with DEWC Services on ways to leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence to support the Australian Defence Force. Jirsch Sutherland principal Emma Mos has hit a major career milestone, qualifying to become a registered trustee – joining a group of 210 or so insolvency practitioners that hold the status. Emma Mos now has dual registrations as a trustee and liquidator (she became a registered liquidator in 2019), making her one of only around 20 women nationally who hold both registrations.
